CIANJ and Commerce Magazine Host 2026 Companies That Care Awards Ceremony.

The spirit of giving back is alive and thriving across New Jersey—and it was on full display at the 2026 Companies That Care Awards Ceremony. Hosted by the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) in partnership with Commerce Magazine, the event took place on April 16th at the Glen Ridge Country Club, bringing together business leaders, community advocates, and changemakers from across the state.

This annual celebration recognizes organizations that go beyond business success to make a meaningful impact through philanthropy, volunteerism, and community engagement. More than 40 companies were honored this year, each demonstrating a deep commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.

A highlight of the evening was an inspiring keynote address from Heather Andersen, President and CEO of Special Olympics New Jersey. She was joined by Special Olympics athlete Amber Concepcion, whose personal story captured the true essence of resilience, inclusion, and community spirit that defines the Companies That Care initiative.

Among the distinguished honorees, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center was named the 2026 Community Impact Leader of the Year—an acknowledgment of its exceptional dedication to improving lives and advancing community health throughout New Jersey.
